I am a firm believer that family relationships can be built even outside of blood relatives. My husband and I moved 12 hours away from all of our family after we graduated from school, and I consider the community we’ve built to be our found family! Everyone works to take care of each other, and everyone gives what they can at the time.

I currently have one toddler that’s 18 months old. I’ll refer to her as Viv or Vivs on my posts. She is a hoot to have around, and we absolutely adore her! We are hoping to have more kids soon, but you can’t rush God’s timing. 🙂

This page will include posts about ways my family is trying to navigate building and maintaining relationships. Communication and respect are so high on the list for how we try to do that. I’m sure we’ll have some fun posts with family activities and updates as well!
